This law foundation course provides comprehensive studies in a variety of legal and political topics, effectively preparing students for entry to university and the educational journey to become a qualified lawyer in practice.

Whilst on this course, students study a variety of topics covering international and national law, in a country which possess a legal system respected throughout the world. The course covers the key aspects of the seven foundations of legal knowledge that are studied at university to gain QLD status, and is the fantastic stepping stone to studying law at a UK university.

Course Aims

The course aims to shape confident learners with an understanding of the law and legal systems within the UK and the knowledge to excel in their studies and progress to university study levels.  Students who graduate from this programme will have the legal knowledge to further their law career and pursue a career in the competitive legal environment. Each student develops the critical analysis skills, confidence and industry focused knowledge that will enable them to deal with current and emerging legal and political theories within a variety of contexts.
