At Buckswood we can arrange taxi transfers to collect and transport to any UK airport, using the Buckswood Transport Department or one of our trusted taxi companies. Our nearest and most frequently used airports are Gatwick and Heathrow. For those students in Form Three and below, or special parental arrangement for nervous/first time travelers, scholars are driven to the airport and escorted to the check-in desk and passport control. All scholars will have a copy of their taxi details, including their driver’s name and telephone number and must travel in their school blazer so that driver and scholar can easily identify each other. The UK Boarder Agency require these documents and arrangements to be followed to allow for smooth boarder crossing. Travel arrangements should be made at least one week prior to the end of term.
